I’m done attempting to patronize this location. I used to come here no problem. Then within the last 6 months I’ve walked out at least 3 times due to long waits. All but one of my haircuts have been great here (the bad one was my fault for not being clear). The ladies are nice enough and the service is decent, if you can get in. Checking in online or in the store, it really doesn’t matter, you’ll be waiting 45 to an hour. The last straw for me was today; I saw there was a 53 minute wait for a stylist I liked. So I checked in online (I refuse to go to the store without using online check in now, I’ve been burned too many times) and continued to shop. I even checked the box that would text me when the stylist I wanted is almost ready for me (so I wouldn’t keep them waiting...). I showed up a little early and took my seat, after a few minutes a different stylist called me up and told me that stylist isn’t even in today! The kicker? On the way to my vehicle, I got a text that said “my stylist would be ready for me in the next 10 minutes, thanks for choosing Sports Clips!” If you’re reading the reviews, please notice how many mention the fact that this store can not figure out the check in system. Or maybe it’s just me. I doubt this place will miss my $30 every month and I hope this review doesn’t effect the stylists as I’ve had mostly excellent service. Either way, I’m done with this company. Please don’t respond by thanking me for my review, unless you can refund my time I’m not interested.

I showed up to get my hair cut and there was a 7 minute wait and one guy ahead of me. The hair dresser took him back and cut his hair and afterwards, they were chatting and he was showing the hair dresser pictures on his phone. This lasted like 10 mins or so and then she brought him up front to pay. But they continued to talk and what not for another 10-15 minutes. And then when he finally left, she just disappeared! She didn’t even take me back. I ended up having to leave because I had to get to work and ran out of time!

Stopped at lunch today to get a haircut. A client was paying and walked out as I walked in. Another client was getting a haircut, and there was no one waiting. The employee that assisted the initial client walked to the back. A third employee looked to be there just to help clean. I sat in the waiting area for 12 minutes. The first employee never came out the back. The second finished giving a haircut, rang the customer out, then walked to the back. After another 5 minutes, no one had come back up front, and the 3rd employee was sweeping the hair off the ground. During this time, no one said anything to me. Being told "it will be just a moment", or anything to acknowledge I was there would have been appreciated. After this, I finally walked out. I have never had this issue at any other location. I have always preferred this one due to the location, and the prior staff has been great. However, after today, I will not be returning to this location. If I do continue to use SportsClips, I will go elsewhere.
